About Us
Joseph Hansen, Principal
Joseph started New England Timber Company after working as a forester for over a decade. Joseph is dedicated to supporting local economies through the harvesting and protection of forest ecosystems throughout southern New England. He has experience managing fire-prone forests in Colorado and developing restoration-based forest harvesting plans.
Joseph has a BS in Forestry with a concentration in Forest Biology from Colorado State University. He has finished his master's coursework for an MS in Forestry from the University of Georgia and has a "Red Card" (Incident Qualification credential) from the National Wildfire Coordinating Group. Previously, Joseph served as the Director of the Jefferson Conservation District in Lakewood, Colorado.
